VACANCY     Tutor/Mentor - Next Level Project

Salary £23,694    Full time or part time 18.5 hours (please state on application)

Ongo Communities is seeking to recruit a Tutor/Mentor to join our exciting new project, which is funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) as part of the 2014-2020 European Structural and Investment Fund Programme. 

The Next Level project will deliver a package of accredited and non-accredited training to improve the skill level of at least 470 disadvantaged people in North Lincolnshire over three years, to assist them to progress into roles within businesses, particularly where there are skills gaps that offer sustainable employment. 

The programme will attract, motivate and mentor low skilled working people, using a range of flexible learning pathways, to help increase their skills and their chance of a successful career.   

Next Level will engage and work with partners and businesses across the Humber to create an innovative programme to support LEP priority sector areas.

To work as part of a small team to deliver a package of training/mentoring to improve the skill level, to level 2 and level 3, to a caseload of participants currently in low skilled jobs. 

Motivate and mentor participants to assist them to work towards a career, focusing on the LEP priority sectors.

  • Proven ability to mentor, motivate and support a range of learners
  • Minimum PTLLS qualification or equivalent and proven skills in teaching, learning and assessment
  • A1 Assessor qualification preferred
