Discretionary housing payment
Do you have to pay extra money on top of your Housing Benefit to cover the rent on your home?
If the answer is yes, are you struggling to meet these costs? Are you worried about losing your home because of this?
What is it?
North Lincolnshire Council has a Government fund which may give you some extra help in the form of a Discretionary Housing Payment (DHP).
A DHP will be for a period of time to meet any additional housing costs. These should be above and beyond the amount of benefit you receive.
How do I apply?
