General tenancy support

We can offer lots of support to all of our tenants, whether this is advice in starting out in your first home, budgeting advice or just general support to maintain your tenancy with us.

There is no cost for this service and the support we can offer varies but here are some of the ways in which we can provide support:

  • budgeting
  • accessing grants
  • paying bills and setting up direct debits
  • claiming benefits
  • getting on with your neighbours
  • helping you to access training and education
  • helping you to get back into work
  • advice on maintaining a tenancy and avoiding eviction
  • help with hoarding and condition of property.

This is not all we can support with, if there is something not on the above list, just get in touch and we will do our best to help. We usually offer this kind of support for up to 6 months, however in certain cases we can provide support for longer.

Our Support Officers will meet with you and jointly devise a support plan. This will include your goals and aspirations, how often support visits will take place - either weekly, fortnightly or monthly, and also how support will take place - a home visit, over the telephone or another method of communication; whichever suits you best

Our aim is to help you sustain your tenancy and to help you achieve positive outcomes for your future, so if you feel that you could benefit from our free support service, please don't hesitate to get in touch!
