10 new apprenticeship opportunities

Ten new apprenticeship vacancies are due to be advertised this week.

The apprenticeships will be in digital marketing, housing management, regeneration, community support, roofing and customer services and will be between 12 months and two years long.

We currently have nine apprentices so this will increase our total to 19.

Jo Sugden, Head of HR, said: “We really believe that investing in young people at the start of their career is a great way to help them take that first step into the world of work.

“We’ve got a really successful track record with our apprentices, with many of them either securing permanent jobs here at Ongo or being able to take their skills and experience to help them gain employment elsewhere.”

As well as earning a wage and gaining valuable hands on experience, the apprentices will also receive training relevant to their job and also earn a qualification during their apprenticeship.
