Work underway to resolve heating issues at Market Hill
Update at 9.40pm, 31 March 2018
Our engineers have told us the boiler at Market Hill is up and running again.
This means all residents should now have their heating and hot water restored.
Clearly there is further work which needs to be done but our priority for this evening was to get the system operational again.
We will be contacting residents to talk about the problems and discuss what our plans are to address them in the long term.
Once again, we are very sorry for the failure of the system this evening.
Update 8.30pm, 31 March 2018
Engineers are on site at Market Hill, Scunthorpe, and are working to restore heating and hot water to the flats and maisonettes (8.30pm 31/03/2018).
A report was received earlier in the evening of problems affecting the heating system.
Early indications suggest that a leak in the system has resulted in the loss of heating and hot water in all properties.
Staff from Ongo are on site and our contracted company is attending to assess and rectify the situation.
We are unable, at this time, to given any indication of when the system will be operational.
We are doing everything we can to restore the system for residents. We recognise the disruption and inconvenience the loss of the system will cause and we sincerely apologise.
Once we have further information we will post updates here.
