Ongo Wheelers complete North Lincs Sportive

A team of six staff completed the North Lincolnshire Sportive on Sunday 10 September which was part of the Tour of Britain celebrations.

The event which followed on from the third stage of the Tour of Britain taking place in North Lincolnshire saw cyclists complete a route of either 24, 60 or 103 miles across North Lincolnshire.

Steve Shelley, Repairs Area Manager here at Ongo, said: “The whole team really enjoyed this event, and it was brilliant to see hundreds of cyclists taking over the roads of North Lincolnshire.

“Getting the whole third stage of the Tour of Britain in North Lincolnshire was amazing, so it was brilliant to be able to continue the celebration with an event for local people to enter, especially being able to do parts of the route that the professional cyclists did.”
