Parkwood Avenue homes

The first six homes on Parkwood Avenue (off Bridgewater Road) are complete and have had the keys handed over to the new tenants.
There are 20 homes in total, with 16 two bed houses and four three-bed houses costing £2.1million to build which will provide much needed affordable homes in the area. Local contractors TG Sowerby Developments Ltd carried out the work to build modern, desirable homes.
Jasmin Rollinson, a 26 year old carer was one of the first people to move into her new Bridgewater Road home; “Me and my daughter are so excited to have one of these homes, we’ve never had a garden we can use so to be able to have this one is amazing.
“This is such a huge change for us, I can’t wait to get settled in and give my daughter a better home. I feel so lucky to have this brand new home which looks out on to a playing park and is just two minutes walk from school.”
Georgie McGuire, Lettings Officer here at Ongo, said: “It’s been great to be able to hand the keys over on the first lot of these brand new homes. They’re built to a really high standard and in such a good location, being near to a park and the local school.
“Handing the keys over to new tenants such as Jasmin and her daughter is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. Seeing people move in to their new home where they can start the next chapter of their life is brilliant.”
