Police commendation for making streets safer
Two members of our Housing Team are to receive a Police Commander’s commendation for their work in providing vital intelligence to Humberside Police.
Scott Taylor, Housing Team Leader was nominated after he and his team carried out the search of a property, which was found to contain an illegal weapon. And the second team member to be nominated provided information relating to another case, which led to a quick and successful arrest.
Chief Superintendent Darren Downs and Inspector Paul French, of Humberside Police, put the nominations forward, and have praised the pair for going above and beyond in their duty.
Scott Taylor, Housing Team Leader said: “I am totally honoured to receive a commendation for my small part in a big team effort. It highlights not only the work carried out on those two occasions, but the work our whole team do every single day.”
“I’m proud to be part of such a great team that together makes a real difference to the communities in which we work.”
Local Neighbourhood Police Inspector Paul French said; “I am delighted that our strong partnership working with Ongo is being recognised through these two pieces of work.
“The examples recognised clearly demonstrate how our teams are working together in our communities against locally set priorities to make North Lincolnshire safer and stronger.”
An awards ceremony will take place in June, where they’ll receive a certificate and hear about the commitment, endeavour and achievements of colleagues and partners across all areas of policing.
