My Move is our new way of advertising some of our available homes to rent and can be accessed direct through our own website or on Rightmove.

You will be able to browse available homes, apply filters to assist your search, register for alerts to be notified when new homes are coming available, and apply direct through the our website for a home you are interested in.

When you find a property you would like to apply for you will need to complete a simple application form which will help us to prioritise your request.

You will need to have your National Insurance number to be able to apply and can register to save your details if you want to.

  • What is meant by create an alert?

    Once you have entered your search criteria you can click on the button ‘Create an alert’. You will then receive emails when properties that match your search are advertised.

  • How many properties can I apply for at any one time?

    There is no limit you can apply for as many as you feel meet your requirements.

  • How long will a property be advertised for?

    The time that a property will be advertising will vary depending on how many people apply but every property will be advertised for at least 3 working days.

  • How do I apply/register interest in a property?

    Once you have found a property that you are interested in click the ‘Register Interest’ button. You will then be required to complete the simple application form. You will need your National Insurance number to begin this process.

  • What happens after I register for a property?

    You will receive an email confirming your application has been registered.

  • How will I know if I am successful?

    You will receive an email when the advert closes to inform you where you have finished on the shortlist.

  • What happens if I am top of a shortlist?

    One of our lettings officers will contact you within 2 working days of the advert ending to discuss your application. Please make sure you have put your correct contact details on the form otherwise you could miss out on the opportunity of the property.

  • What information will you need if I am successful?

    When our lettings officer contacts you they will ask you for the details of everyone that is moving with you and proof of ID and income. They will verify all your details including the information that you have entered on the application form.

  • How much advance rent will I need to pay?

    If you intend to pay your rent weekly we will ask you for a minimum of 2 weeks rent in advance. For monthly payers we will ask for a month’s rent in advance.

  • When will a property be ready?

    All our properties will need to go through safety checks and repairs. As some will require more work than others we can only give an estimated date at the time of advertising. If you are successful we will be able to give a more accurate date during the allocation process.
