Plumbing & Heating Engineer

The Role….

As a gas engineer you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services to our customers whilst minimizing disruption where possible, this will include social housing and private properties. You will be installing, servicing and maintaining a wide variety of boilers and main source supply equipment, whilst maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through first time fix. You will take a proactive approach to health and safety, creating a safe environment for all.

What will you do…

  • Install/ replace domestic gas systems
  • Effectively diagnose, identify faults and failures with gas equipment and systems, providing effective solutions
  • Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance
  • Coordinate and control all documents associated with reactive & planned preventative maintenance works
  • Ensure all work is carried out to a high quality, is technically correct and is in line with Company, Client and manufacturing requirements
  • Liaise closely with the client, maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships
  • Work in a safe and controlled manor following all necessary internal health & safety processes and client specific site requirements
  • Be flexible and willing to undertake work required from repairs and service to full heating installs

Who are we looking for…

  • An experienced and confident Gas engineer, you will have the necessary NVQ Level 2/3 Plumbing & Heating and at least 3 years’ experience
  • The ability to work independently and use your own initiative
  • Full driving licence
  • Be able to pass a DBS check
  • Commercial gas / air source knowledge would be an advantage but not essential
