Over £1000 raised for good causes

Our staff raised £1,212 for Scunthorpe's Blue Door and Lindsey Lodge Hospice charities and Sheffield's neonatal unit in two recent fundraisers.

A raffle, organised by our Income Collection Team, was held at our HQ, raising £862.

We also raised £350 when every member of staff who filled in a staff survey received a £2 donation from Investors in People.

Natalie Davies, Ongo's Income Collection Officer, said: “Charity raffles are always extremely popular with staff here at Ongo. We do one every year and it’s always amazing to see the amount of money we raise for brilliant causes.

“Staff could vote on the charities which received the money. It's a great boost to start their new year."

Fire drill notice

At 6.30pm today (21 June) we will be carrying out a pre-planned fire drill at Trent View House flats, in Scunthorpe. This drill was planned as part of our routine fire safety procedures. Everyone living at Trent View House has been made aware that this is just a drill. Following the fatal fire at Grenfell Tower, and after careful consideration, we have decided it is important to go ahead with the drill. We wish to inform the wider community that should they see activity at Trent View House that there is NO cause for alarm.
