This exciting addition to the 'Ongo Journey to Work' will help those who have successfully found employment to further develop their skills to stay in employment and build a long term career.
This programme is part funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and aims to help motivate and train low skilled working people, using a range of flexible learning pathways to improve skills profile, to support them to progress in their career. Our team of Tutor Mentors will create an individual plan to develop the qualifications you need to stay in work.
We also work with employers to ensure that the skills and qualifications we provide will meet the needs of the company, particularly in the following Humber LEP priority sectors:
- Ports and logistics
- Renewable technologies/green energy
- Creative and digital
- Engineering and manufacturing
- Visitor economy
- Health and social care
- Construction (as an enabling sector for engineering and manufacturing)
This project is part funded by the European Union until December 2019.
By presenting a suite of accredited and none accredited awards to both employees and employers within North Lincolnshire which are aimed at pre requisites training for middle management positions.
Examples of the type of training we offer include:
- Manual handling;
- Food hygiene / food safety;
- Conflict resolution;
- Team supervision;
- Health and social care;
- Customer service / business administration;
- Managing teams effectively;
- IOSH managing safety;
- Fire safety;
- Numeracy & literacy;
- Information communication technology IT);
- Working from heights and personal; and
- Social development.
As well as delivering awarded qualifications to participants who are already in work we will also ensure participants have the best chance of success by offering coaching and mentoring support which will enhance interview preparation, presentation skills, CV writing, self belief and confidence.
