Reporting anti-social behaviour
Our Tenancy Services Team works with North Lincolnshire Council and Humberside Police to take firm action against anti-social behaviour and those who cause it.
It is written into tenancy agreements that all tenants, their family and visitors, must not cause nuisance or distress to others in the community. To do so risks eviction.
We promise to take a hard stance against offenders, which includes taking people to court when necessary.
What is anti-social behaviour?
Often shortened to ASB, anti-social behaviour is anything which is likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress to others. It is usually a criminal offence too. Examples include:
- Aggressive and threatening language or behaviour
- Graffiti and vandalism
- Underage drinking
- Noise nuisance (which is excessive, such as loud parties and excessive noise from TV’s or music equipment)
