Ashbridge Roofing give back to our community
A huge £6,922 has been given to two of our community projects, after Ashbridge Roofing donate a proportion of their profits from the year.
Ashbridge has been operating in and around the region for a number of years, delivering everything from small domestic projects, to substantial commercial developments. They pride themselves in being small enough to care, but large enough to deliver.
This year has been particularly successful, with the delivery of large scale projects, securing new contracts and retaining regular business. This has, despite challenges thrown at them through the Covid-19 pandemic, resulted in a year of considerable growth and profit for the business.
As part of their commitment to the area, Ashbridge pledge that profit they make is reinvested in the community, and this has been donated to two Ongo Communities projects.
The first is our allotment initiative, which aims to create pride on estates and boost mental health and wellbeing through practical skills, a mixture of gardening, growing your own and learning about environments.
The second is Raising Aspirations which employs Youth Mentors to work with young people to inspire them, encourage them and empower them to grow to their full potential as involved members of our community.
Rob Cully, General Manager at Ashbridge Roofing commented: “We’re very proud to see our hard work from the year benefit these fantastic projects.
“We’ve had challenges throughout the year, like most businesses, but we’re grateful to be in a strong position and to be able to give a little bit back to support our communities.
“We have some great projects lined up over the forthcoming year and hopefully with restrictions lifting, and with such a great team, we can finish next year in profit and donate even more.”
