Supporting you this winter

We understand that you might be worried about the cost of running your home, especially in winter.  With the rising cost of living, you might be worried about feeding your family too. We’ve put together some useful information on the financial help that may be available, how to reduce your energy and water use, and how to keep you, and your home, healthy.

Supporting you this winter

You are at the heart of everything we do.

Local communities are at the heart of our housing business, which is why all profit we make is reinvested into improving social homes, neighbourhoods, and creating opportunities for local people.

“I had a young man come to look at my kitchen. What an amazing lad he was he introduced himself on the doorstep (I have anxiety due to agoraphobia) he put me at ease straight away with his lovely friendly manner, he listened to what I had to say he didn’t rush me and he was very professional in explaining to me what the problem was. He went above and beyond in my opinion please pass on my thanks and gratitude to this lad.”

“A good word for the maintenance and repairs department. On Monday morning my boiler was not working I rang Ongo about 10.30 am and reported it I expected to be without heat and hot water overnight.. But an engineer turned up at 12.15pm and had it going within minutes, thanks!”

Stewart – tenant

“I spoke with a gentleman today who lives in Myos House. He said it was a wonderful place and he feels very supported. He was in a bit of a bad place before he moved as he wanted to remain independent but it was no longer safe for him at home. Since moving in he said he has seen an improvement in his mood, dementia and he physically feels better. Before he moved in, in September, his mental health had taken a big hit. But now he is very content, happy and never wants to leave.”
