We’re looking for talented and committed individuals to join Ongo’s governance structure and help shape the future of our organisation.

As a Board Member, you’ll play a key role in setting strategic direction, providing constructive challenge and support, and helping ensure we continue to deliver high-quality services for our tenants and communities.
Current opportunities
We’re looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in finance, audit, risk management, assurance or internal controls. This role will help provide independent oversight of our financial and governance arrangements, supporting effective decision-making and organisational resilience.
As well as contributing to Ongo Homes Board, the successful candidate will play an important role in the work of the Audit & Risk Committee, helping ensure robust governance and accountability across the organisation.
We’re seeking someone with significant commercial leadership experience and a strong understanding of business performance, customer needs and sustainable growth.
This role will provide strategic insight and challenge on commercial opportunities, helping Ongo balance commercial success with its social purpose and commitment to customers.
We’re looking for an individual with experience of customer engagement, community leadership, social value, employment, skills development or support services.
This role will bring valuable insight into the needs of customers and communities, helping ensure that tenant voice, community impact and customer outcomes remain central to decision-making.
We are particularly keen to hear from individuals with direct lived experience of social housing and a genuine understanding of the opportunities and challenges faced by tenants.
This role will help strengthen customer insight at Board level and support our ongoing commitment to putting customers at the heart of everything we do.
We’re seeking a senior professional with experience in asset management, repairs, property services, investment or development.
The successful candidate will help oversee investment in our homes and services, bringing expertise that supports safe, sustainable and high-quality housing for customers now and in the future.
