Work is progressing well with the building of 16 new homes in Belton which will offer more affordable housing in rural North Lincolnshire.

Owned and due to be managed by us, the homes are a mixture of one bedroom bungalows and two, three and four bedroom houses. They are all located in the Ashtree Close area of Belton.

Local building firm GS Kelsey is building the homes at a cost of around £1.6million, and they’re expected to be completed in April 2018.

Martin Phillips, Development Manager, said: “These are fantastic homes, and it is great to have a mixture of house types on one development. There is definitely a need for more affordable homes in rural areas, so to be able to build in the popular village of Belton has been a brilliant opportunity for us.”

Matthew Robinson, Director at GS Kelsey Construction said: “It’s been a pleasure to work with Ongo and help with their continued efforts to improve communities and provide quality housing. This will be evident when the homes are unveiled in the coming months.  This development has been built by local people who take real pride in their work and we find that our quality outcomes are great when local people and businesses are engaged.”

The homes are all built to a high specification, with open plan living downstairs, energy efficient features, private gardens and careful attention to detail in the decorative features of the homes.

They will be available to bid on through Home Choice Lincs from April.
