Carpets for sale from Choose to Reuse Image

Our Choose to Reuse store now stocks carpets for sale, as part of a project to support homeless housing charity M25 Made By U, based in Doncaster.

The charity provides accommodation, advice and support to homeless people in Doncaster’s communities. They work with John Lewis who dispose of all their debit and returned stock to the charity to sell at affordable prices. All profits are reinvested back into the continuing delivery of much needed homelessness support services in Doncaster.

Choose to Reuse purchase carpets from M25 and will be sell them in their Enderby Road store and also via their Facebook page.

This is the latest product available to buy from the Choose to Reuse store which sells second hand furniture including beds, wardrobes and dining tables & chairs at affordable prices.

Andy McFadden, Community Investment Coordinator at Ongo, said: “We’re delighted to be able to support such a great cause, and it’s fantastic that we can add another affordable product to our store.

“Carpets can be so expensive, but we’ve made sure our prices will be affordable. We never know what sizes, styles or colours we will have in stock so the best thing to do if you’re looking for a carpet is to call in our shop or check out our Facebook page.”

Joyce Foster, Executive Director of M25, said: “Our partnership with Ongo really fits with the vision for the future we had when M25 made By U was first developed in 2016. Carpets are an integral part of any decent and comfortable home.

“Doing our bit alongside Ongo to ensure that this essential home item is available at an affordable price to some of those with the least resources is what we set out to achieve.”
