December is set to be another fun filled month at The Viking Centre in Barton, with Christmas activities for the whole family to get involved in.

There will be a Christmas party on 18 December between 4.30pm-6pm, and a special festive themed dinner on 19 December between 4.30pm-6pm, which will be part of their weekly Tea Time Club.

Christmas craft classes have also been running from 29 November, and will continue for four weeks. One class is for children aged 8 and under, and the other is for young people over the age of 8.

To top the festivities off, a final trip of the year has been organised to Big Fun in Hull on 10 December, which 30 local children are booked on to.

Grace Woolley, Youth Mentor said: “2018 has been a great year for us here at the Viking Centre, so we’re very excited to end the year on a high, with a month of great activities.

“We’re already planning big things for 2019, so keep an eye out for these. If you want to get involved pop in to the Viking Centre on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, or call us on 01652 660018.”
