The Arc and Viking Centre hosted a range of fun half term activities for families to get involved in last week.

From pizza and pool to a trip to Magna Science Adventure in Rotherham, we’ve been busy during half term.

The activities kicked off on 17 February with a pottery workshop, slime making and, a bus trip on 19 February to Magna science Adventure in Rotherham, which 25 adults and children attended.

Grace Wooley, our Viking Centre Coordinator said: “This is the furthest we have taken young people on a trip from the local area”

“Not only does it take the kids out of their local area but it also educational and fun.”

There was also a fully booked street dance workshop at The Arc. Jemma Ackers, our youth mentor said: “We’ve had lots of fun over the half term, it’s so nice for the community to come together and enjoy each other’s company and the activities we’ve put on.”

“It’s very important for us to continue to build relationships and engage with local people so we can give them any support they need.”
