Local building firm appointed building contract

GS Kelsey has been appointed as the contractor to carry out the building work on our £3 million development project at Albert Marson Court in Scunthorpe.

The project will see 23 three bedroom houses and 4 four bedroom houses built on the site of the Albert Marson Court flats– homes which are in high demand for this area. 

Consultation has been carried out with local residents to find out what is important to them for this development project, along with giving them timescales and showing plans for the area.

Local firm, GS Kelsey will build the new homes in a considerate manner taking care in dealing with the local community; the build has an approximate completion date in August 2018.

Martin Phillips, Development Manager said: “It’s great to have a local firm on board with this exciting project, our investment and working with a local firm keeps the money in Scunthorpe, and will create apprenticeship opportunities for local people. This new development will transform the area and provide much needed affordable homes in Scunthorpe.”
