Neighbourhood Engagement events are coming

Ongo members of staff will be visiting areas as part of our new Neighbourhood Engagement events, with the first event taking place at the end of this month.

The first event will take place in Scunthorpe, located at Edwards Road, Davy Avenue and Robinson Close, on 27 March from 10am.

Staff from across Ongo will be looking to chat to tenants to see if there’s anything they feel could be improved to make their areas a better place to live.

This will include door knocking, and tenants are reminded to ask for ID when visits are made.

Ongo staff will also be taking a walk around the area, and members of the community are invited to join them on this walk. Tenants and customers in this area are invited to join the team from 10am on the grassed area at Robinson Close.

Wendy Wolfe, Customer Engagement Manager, said “We are looking forward to working with tenants directly and to see and hear first-hand how we can improve things to make our communities great places to live.

“We know that sometimes, things aren’t always reported to us, so this will give people an opportunity to share any concerns they have, and for us to try and make those things right.”

Providing well-maintained neighbourhoods, and filling them with community spirit, is part of Ongo’s being a great landlord Corporate Plan objective.
