New Director of Communities

On Friday 1 March 2019, we welcomed Kevin Hornsby as our new Director of Communities.

Before joining us at Ongo, Kevin was the Head of Tenancy Sustainment at Orbit, a housing group which provides homes to over 100,000 customers across the Midlands, the East and South East.

He’s taken over from Erika Stoddart, who has retired after more than five years of working here.

As the new Director of Communities, he is part of the Executive Management Team and is responsible for Customer Services and Support, Community Investment and Housing Management.

Kevin has worked in the housing sector for over 16 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in housing, tenancy management and customer service. Most recently he led a business transformation around digital customer services and a new coaching model to provide an improved customer experience.

When asked what he was most excited about, Kevin said: “This is a really exciting time for me to join Ongo with the launch of our new corporate plan. 

“I have a passion for excellent service and can’t wait to work with the wider Communities team, our tenants and partners in order to drive forward our vision of creating and sustaining truly vibrant communities.”
