New homes taking shape at Heapham Road development

It’s been a year since we announced plans to transform the former Heapham Road site in Gainsborough, and there’s already plenty of progress to see.

Work on the development is moving forward well, with the new homes now clearly taking shape. Once complete, the scheme will provide 64 high-quality homes, including one-bedroom apartments and two, three and four-bedroom houses, helping to meet local housing need in the area.

The majority of the plots are now build complete, marking a significant milestone for the development. The final apartment block continues to progress well and is due to be watertight by the middle of November, with the roof complete, windows installed and external doors fitted.

The homes are being built with the future in mind, with solar panels, electric vehicle charging points and off-road parking included as standard.

The development is part of our ongoing investment in Gainsborough and will provide modern, energy-efficient homes close to schools, shops and other local amenities.

The development is being delivered in partnership with West Lindsey District Council and remains on track for completion in 2027.

The first homes are expected to be handed over in February 2027, with the whole site still on target for completion in March 2027.

As work continues, the development will bring much-needed new homes to the area and support the wider regeneration of Gainsborough.

These homes will be available for bidding on the Homechoice website from Mid December.
