Official opening of The Arc

The Arc in Westcliff, Scunthorpe will officially open for business on Monday 21 May at 1pm.

Within The Arc is a cafe, Post Office, enterprise zone, Little Owl’s preschool, a training centre, youth zone and meeting rooms available for hire.

A brand new community hub based right in the heart of Westcliff, The Arc is part of our £9million regeneration project. The project includes The Arc, 41 new homes, a large One Stop convenience store, a Coop pharmacy, Heidi’s Hair and Beauty Salon, a fish and chip shop plus one other retail unit.

Jan Williams, Head of Community Investment, said: “We’re so pleased to be able to announce the opening date of The Arc. It is a state of the art building and will be somewhere that people of all ages can enjoy.

“Once it opens we’re hoping to see people really making the most of all the facilities available. The cafe will be serving hot and cold food and drinks throughout the day, the meeting and training rooms will be available for hire by local businesses, there will be lots of planned events for young people and we have the enterprise zone for anyone looking to setup their own business and needs a space to work from.

The opening hours of The Arc will be as follows:
Monday – Friday: 8.30am – 5.30pm
Saturday: 8.30am – 1pm
Sunday: Closed

Bookings will be taken to hire rooms in the evenings for meetings, classes and events. There is free parking and free wifi at The Arc and it is a fully accessible building; making it a space for the whole community to enjoy.
