Ongo Carnival is back for another fantastic family fun day
Thousands of people are expected to head to Manor Park today as Ongo Carnival returns for a free day of family fun, entertainment and community spirit.
Taking place from 11am until 3.30pm, the much-loved annual event has grown year on year and is set to bring together local families, community groups and organisations for another action-packed day.
There’s plenty for visitors to enjoy, including demonstrations, food stalls, information stands and activities from Ongo and its partners, with something for all ages.
Over the years, Ongo Carnival has welcomed a range of popular attractions, from donkeys, birds of prey and farmyard animals to circus workshops, face painting and giant inflatables. This year’s event promises just as much fun, with lots of opportunities for families to get involved and try something new.
Wendy Wolfe, Customer Engagement Manager said, “Ongo Carnival is one of the highlights of our year. It’s a chance to bring people together, celebrate our communities and provide a free, fun day out for local families. We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to Manor Park and making this year’s event one to remember.”
