Our first ever for sale site in Blyton has been named as a finalist in ‘Best High Volume New Housing Development’ at the Local Authority Building Control awards (LABC).

These awards are the largest business to business honours in the building control sector, and they aim to recognise quality in many different types of project.

The development, Owlet Mews, includes a total of 19 homes with a mix of two, three and four bedroom houses and bungalows. Set in a rural village, each home comes with scenic views, spacious living areas, private parking and list of modern features.

With their first for sale site being so highly commended, anticipation is growing for the delivery of Ongo’s next sale site in Corringham, just a few miles away.

Martin Phillips, Development Manager for Ongo, said: “We knew from the first plans this site was going to be special, so it’s been great to be a part of delivering such quality homes.

“Owlet Mews was something new to Ongo so we’re over the moon at how successful it has been. To be commended at such prestigious awards is just fantastic and something we’re extremely proud of.

“Our next sale site in Corringham is now really starting to take shape too, so keep an eye out for them.”

Ongo worked with local building contractor TG Sowerby Developments Ltd, BSB Architecture and DBA Management Consultants to design and deliver the homes.
