Six Ongo staff completed the annual C2C2C challenge on Thursday 29 June.

The C2C2C (castle to coast to castle) challenge, now in its seventh year, sees cyclists take on the 100 mile charity ride to raise money for great local causes.

For 2017, the chosen charities were LIVES, Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance and Men’s Sheds.

The event started and finished at Lincoln Rugby Club, Nettleham.

This is the third year we have entered a team. The team included John Cavill (Community Investment), Steve Shelley (Maintenance), Andy McFadden (Community Investment), Craig Marriott (Housing Management), Liam Oliver (ICT) and Rex Harrison (Health & Safety).

Andy McFadden, Operations Manager at Ongo Communities, said: “It was a brilliant event and the atmosphere really kept everyone going. It was definitely a tough challenge with the weather, but we worked together as a team to motivate each other and get through it.

“I would definitely enter this event again; it was really well organised and it’s a brilliant way to raise lots of money for great local causes.”

The team has a Just Giving page, if anyone would like to support them in their 100 mile cycling challenge there’s still time to donate. https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Andy-McFadden3
