Over £6,900 donated to community projects by Hales and Coultas
Hales and Coultas heating and plumbing has donated a total of £6,922 to benefit community projects in the area.
The business has been operating for over 30 years, and specialise in both domestic and commercial heating and plumbing services. They work on our homes, as well as huge private contracts.
Despite battling Covid-19 and tough restrictions, the businesses has successfully ended their year in profit. This is not only great news for them, but also for local people as they too promise “profit is reinvested back into the community”.
The donation was made to our communities team, and so far has benefitted their allotment project, which aims to create pride on estates and boost mental health and wellbeing through practical gardening skills.
Another project the money will support is Raising Aspirations which employs Youth Mentors to work with young people to inspire them, encourage them and empower them to grow to their full potential as involved members of our community.
Michelle Mills, General Manager at Hales and Coultas said: “We are delighted to be celebrating another successful year, despite everything going on at the moment. It’s all down to the hard work and dedication of my team and I can’t praise them enough.
“It’s a real honour to work for a business that donates their profit into such amazing causes, it creates a real sense of pride for us and that’s why I love working here so much.
“We’re excited to see how the money will benefit both projects, and fingers crossed we can donate even more to good causes in the community next year.”
