Pink day success

OVER £300 was raised for Breast Cancer Now by our staff on Thursday 19 October as part of the national Pink Day fundraiser.

To raise money, staff donned their best pink outfits, baked pink themed sweet treats and held a pink tombola, with £304 being raised in total by staff at the head office, customer centre, employment support office and recruitment team.

Nichola Hunt, PA to the Chief Executive, said: “Staff here at Ongo are so generous when it comes to fundraising, and breast cancer is something that affects so many people every year; we all wanted to do our bit and raise some much needed money for the fantastic cause.

“Every year we like to raise money and raise awareness about breast cancer, and this year we’ve smashed our target of £500 which is brilliant news.”
