We have signed up to the Red Box Project – a community based, not for profit project, which aims to support girls throughout their periods by donating free sanitary products to local schools.

Our staff have been filling boxes with donated items for the project, which was founded in 2017 following news that one in ten girls in the UK had been unable to afford sanitary wear and 49% had missed a day at school because of their period.

Ongo House is also a central collection point for others to donate, along with other North Lincolnshire businesses Jackson Stapleton Accountants, Mess Makers, Music Bugs North Lincs, Westcliff Community Works and Samtony’s Embroidery.

Chief Executive Steve Hepworth said: “This is a great project. We would encourage other businesses out there to take part.”
