Tenants invited to community action day in Belton

Tenants living in and around Ashtree Close, Belton, are being invited to take part in a community action day on Tuesday 29 September.

The day will bring together Ongo colleagues and partner organisations, who will be out in the neighbourhood speaking with residents, listening to concerns, and offering advice and support.

The event is an opportunity for residents to meet local teams, discuss any issues affecting them, and find out more about the services and support available in their area.

As part of the day, colleagues will be carrying out door knocking and engaging with residents to help identify any neighbourhood concerns and work together on solutions that make a positive difference to the community.

Kirsty Waller, Neighbourhood Officer at Ongo, said, “We’re looking forward to spending time in Ashtree Close and speaking with tenants about the issues that matter most to them. These events are a great way for us to listen, offer support and work together to keep our neighbourhoods great places to live.”

Tenants are encouraged to come along, have a chat with the team and get involved.
