We’re hosting a wellbeing walk for all
We are hosting a wellbeing walk for all along the Waters Edge trail in Barton upon Humber on Tuesday, 10 September. This event is open to everyone, including children and dogs, and no registration is needed.
The aim is to bring people together to show their support for mental health and promote the help that’s available. We will be on hand to chat about the support we offer, from counselling and confidence boosting courses, to free training and employment support.
Ongo Talk is the name of our expert counselling service available for both businesses and individuals. Our in-house trained counsellors offer a variety of services including individual, family or couples counselling for very affordable prices.
Event Details:
- Date: Tuesday, 10 September
- Time: 10:30am
- Location: Meeting at The Tile Works, Barton-upon-Humber, and walking along the water’s edge
Last year, over 40 people attended the walk to show their support for mental health. This year, we are hoping to make the event bigger and better than ever.
Emma Mcleary, Mental Health Specialist said, “We are thrilled to see the community come together to support mental health. The wellbeing walk is a fantastic opportunity for people to connect, enjoy the beautiful surroundings and promote metal wellbeing.
“Mental health is very real. You may be reading this today feeling good, but tomorrow something could change and you may need mental health support. It’s great to see more people having that mind-set and being understanding of others.
“If you do need help, or know someone who may benefit from one of our mental health projects, please get in touch with us, we would love to hear from you.”
We look forward to seeing you there and making this year’s walk a memorable and impactful event for all.
