Market Hill survey work – important information for you

Survey work | 20 August – 28 August

Survey work is taking place at Princess House from Thursday 20 August to Friday 28 August. The surveys will take place in empty properties, so we will not need access to any homes.

We are carrying out the surveys following a request from the Building Safety Regulator for up-to-date information about the structural condition of our high-rise blocks.

We have chosen Princess House to carry out the survey work because we currently have a series of empty flats in the block and we can do the work in those flats. This will minimise the disruption by not having to carry out the work in flats with people living in them.

All three blocks were constructed at the same time using the same construction method. In line with guidance from the Building Safety Regulator, the findings from Princess House will help inform our assessment of all three buildings.

We have appointed Mason Clark Associates to manage this project on our behalf.

There will be some noise while the surveys are taking place, including periods of drilling and banging. The work will be limited to 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, and the noise will not be continuous throughout those hours. We are sorry for the disruption this may cause.

If the noise becomes difficult for you, a quiet space will be available in the Lesley Pearson Room at Crosby House during the survey work.

You can also speak to a member of our Building Safety and Compliance team in the concierge area between 9am and 12 noon, Monday to Friday. Alternatively, email compliance@ongo.co.uk.

Once the surveys are complete, we will review the report and share it with the Building Safety Regulator. We will then update you on the findings and any next steps following our discussions with the regulator.
