Every once in a while we like to run competitions, promotions and giveaways. Each one comes with an important set of Terms & Conditions (T&Cs) to make sure they are run transparently and fairly.

Here you will find the T&Cs for our different competitions, promotions and giveaways.

  • May 2020 Key News survey competition

    Date competition opened for entries: Friday 29 May 2020

    Date of competition closed for entries: Friday 26 June 2020

    Winning prize: A £30 Love to Shop voucher

    1. This prize is to be won through completing the survey found within the May 2020 edition of Key News. The survey can be completed online at surveymonkey.com/r/keynewsmay2020.

    2. The competition will require entrants to complete the survey and submit their name, address, phone number and email address to be entered in the competition.

    3. Only one winner will be drawn from all the surveys completed.

    4. No personal data will be held for anything other than the purpose of contacting the winner and making arrangements to visit them to give them the voucher.

    5. The competition is open to every tenant who received a digital copy of the May 2020 Key News, except Ongo Homes staff.

    6. All employees and their close relatives of Ongo Partnership Ltd, Ongo Homes Ltd, Ongo Commercial Ltd, Ongo Communities Ltd, Ongo Recruitment Ltd, Ongo Heating & Plumbing Ltd (trading as Hales and Coultas Heating and Plumbing) and Ongo Roofing (trading as Ashbridge Roofing) are excluded from entering the competition. A close relative includes a spouse or partner, child, parent or sibling.

    7. Ongo Partnership Ltd nor any of its subsidiaries in any way endorses Love to Shop and this competition should not be considered any form of recommendation or endorsement.

    8. The winner will be selected at random from all the responses received by the Editor of Key News. The decision is final.

    9. The prize includes one £30 Love to Shop voucher to spend at participating stores.

    10. The winner will be notified by phone and, if unable to contact the winner by phone, they will be emailed (providing they give a working email address).

    11. The winner will be drawn on the week commencing 29 June 2020.

    12. We will give 5 working days once we have notified the winner for them to respond to visit and present their prize. If we are unable to get in touch/they do not get in touch with us we will repeat the draw and notify the new winner.

  • The Arc valentines giveaway - February 2020

    Format of competition: Facebook prize draw giveaway
    Winning prize: Afternoon tea for two people

    1. These terms and conditions apply to the Facebook prize draw giveaway - entry to the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions, therefore, please read carefully.
    2. No purchase is necessary.
    3. The Promoter of the Facebook prize draw giveaway is Ongo Communities Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 1156007, whose registered office is at Ongo House, High Street, Scunthorpe, DN15
    4. The Promotion is open only to UK residents (excluding employees of the Promoter, third parties involved in the Promotion and their families), who are aged 16 and above.
    5. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
    6. To enter the Promotion, entrants should like and share The ARC Facebook page. Entries not properly received due to technical, communication or other problems may not be counted. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt.
    7. The Promotion will run on Facebook from 10.00am on 07th February 2020 until 10.00am on 14th February 2020 (“the closing date”). Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted.
    8. There shall be one prize for one winner, a voucher for afternoon tea for two people. The ARC Management team will be responsible for allocating prizes.
    9. The winner shall be selected at random after 9am on 17th February 2020. The winner shall be notified via Facebook before 5pm on 17th February 2020 and will be informed to collect the winning voucher from The ARC.
    10. In the event that any prize is not claimed after two weeks, the winner shall forfeit the Prize and the Promoter may select an alternative winner.
    11. There shall be no cash alternatives to the prize although the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for that/those of equal value.
    12. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Promoter.
    13. The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
    14. The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter shall not enter into correspondence with respect to its decision. The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify or exclude any individual for inappropriate behaviour including but not limited to:

    Format of competition: Social media
    Winning prize: A night in hamper for five winners

    2. No purchase is necessary.
    3. The Promoter of the social media prize draw giveaway is Ongo Communities Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 1156007, whose registered office is at Ongo House, High Street, Scunthorpe, DN15
    4. The Promotion is open only to UK residents (excluding employees of the Promoter, third parties involved in the Promotion and their families), who are aged 4 -14 (help from adults will be needed for younger children.)
    5. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
    6. To enter the Promotion, email hello@arcwestcliff.co.uk or text 07717588379 with a picture of ‘the three things I am most excited to do when lockdown is over’ which is included in the activity pack.

    8. There shall be one prize for five winners, a night in hamper for the family. The ARC Management team will be responsible for allocating prizes.
    9. A panel of judges will shortlist the top 20, then on 14 June 2020 Community Voice Officers will pick 5 winners. The winners shall be notified via email before 5pm on 14 June 2020 and will be informed to collect the winning voucher from The Arc.
    10. In the event that any prize is not claimed after two weeks of being notified, the winner shall forfeit the Prize and the Promoter may select an alternative winner.

    1. These terms and conditions apply to the social media competition - entry to the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions, therefore, please read carefully.
    2. No purchase is necessary.
    3. The Promoter of the social media competition is Ongo Partnership Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 08048224, whose registered office is at Ongo House, High Street, Scunthorpe, DN15
    4. The Promotion is open only to UK residents (excluding employees of the Promoter, third parties involved in the Promotion and their families), who are aged 16 and below.

    6. To enter the Promotion, you must fill out the form on the Ongo website correctly. Entry can only be done once and contact details must be provided.
    7. The Promotion will run on Facebook from 2pm on 8 June 2020 until 10.00am on 30 June 2020 (“the closing date”). Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted.

    9. A panel of judges will shortlist the top 20 names, then on 29 July 2020 both North Lincolnshire Council and Ongo development will pick one winner. The winner shall be notified via email/phone call before 5pm on 30 July 2020.

    1. These terms and conditions apply to the competition - entry to the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions, therefore, please read carefully.

    4. The promotion is open only to tenants of Ongo who are UK residents (excluding employees of the Promoter, third parties involved in the Promotion and their families).
    5. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
    6. To enter the competition, you must fill out the form on the Ongo website correctly and provide a photo of your entry from the categories listed on the form. The completed form and photos will be submitted to customer.engagement@ongo.co.uk - entry can only be done once and contact details must be provided.
    7. The competition will run from 22 June 2020 until 31 July 2020 (“the closing date”). Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted.
    8. There shall be one winner and one runner-up for this competition.
    9. Each category will be shortlisted to five entries by a panel of Ongo staff. The shortlisted entries will then be judged by the Officers of the main Ongo tenant group, Community Voice, and they will pick one winner and one runner-up. The winner and runner-up shall be notified via email on week commencing 10 August 2020.
    10. In the event that any prize is not claimed after two weeks of being notified, the winner and/or runner-up shall forfeit the prize and the promoter may select an alternative winner and/or runner-up.
    11. There shall be no cash alternatives to the prize although the promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for that/those of equal value.
    12. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
