Free Scunthorpe Rugby tickets up for grabs as we agree a new partnership

We’re excited to announce an exciting new partnership with Scunthorpe Rugby Club, aimed at boosting access to sport and wellbeing opportunities for local people.

As part of the two-year agreement, community members will be able to apply for free tickets to attend rugby matches at Heslam Park in Scunthorpe throughout the season.

This builds on our successful work with local football clubs, which has already seen thousands benefit from free access to games and community engagement activities.

The partnership includes 10 free tickets per game, two season tickets up for grabs, Vice President subscriptions, opportunities to access international match tickets and free venue hire twice a year for community events.

Our employment, recruitment and mental services will also be promoted for fans to access.

Jan Williams, Head of Opportunities at Ongo said: The new partnership with Scunthorpe Rugby Club marks a significant step forward in expanding Ongo’s commitment to health, sport, and wellbeing across the regions it has homes.”

Scunthorpe Rugby Club, based at Heslam Park, has a proud tradition of welcoming fans and players of all backgrounds. Through this partnership, we want to open the doors even wider, giving more people the chance to experience the thrill of match day, connect with others, and explore new opportunities for personal growth and wellbeing.

Community members can apply for tickets to individual games via the Ongo Recruitment website. Applications are open throughout the season, and successful applicants will be contacted directly by the team. Tickets will be collected from our office on Cole Street in Scunthorpe.
