Meet the team: Damp, Mould and Disrepair
Following the launch of our new Maintenance structure in September, a new Damp, Mould & Disrepair Team has been created.
Their primary focus links directly into our corporate plan and the strategy of being a great landlord, which means:
- Home will be in good repair, safe, secure and clean in well-maintained neighbourhoods that are thriving with community spirit
- Repairs completed in a timely manner and customers able to track the progress and know what will happen next
- Communication is clear so tenants know what they can expect from us, and we listen and act on what they tell us
Industry update
There’s lots happening within the world of damp and mould, with a new case management system and new inspection form on Aareon, new reporting on Power BI, a new procedure and Awaab’s Law being introduced.
That’s why now more than ever it’s important we deliver a good quality service to our tenants. There are strict timescales which must be met, which this new team will achieve with your support.
Over the coming weeks the team will be delivering some role specific training to help keep our tenants safe and our teams informed, so keep your eyes peeled for the invite and remember, we all have a part to play, so always report damp and mould in tenants homes if you see it.
