Mental health Awareness Week: Breaking the silence

Mental health Awareness Week is from 12 – 18 May and dedicated to raising awareness about mental health issues and promoting mental well-being. This year’s theme, “Breaking the Silence,” aims to encourage open conversations about mental health, reduce stigma, and support those struggling with mental health challenges.
We offer a range of wellbeing services to support our customers’ mental health. Our team of qualified counsellors can help with a range of issues, whether it’s for yourself, your family, or you and a partner. Sessions are affordable, and with no long waiting lists, you’ll be speaking to one of our friendly team soon after you contact us.
We also organise social activities to get you out of the house and chatting with others. Join the team for group walks and fun days out. Recent trips have included bowling, boating, Nunnys farm and golf sessions. These activities are a great way to meet new people and enjoy some leisure time.
Katie Williams, Lead Mental Health Specialist & Integrative Supervisorat Ongo said: “We’re pleased to be raising awareness of such an important subject. For us it’s not just about one month, we are here all year round and want to shout as much as possible that help is available.
“Mental health is very real. You may be reading this today feeling good, but tomorrow something could change, and you may need mental health support. It’s great to see more people having that mind-set and being understanding of others.
“If you do need help or know someone who may benefit from one of our mental health projects, please get in touch with us, we would love to hear from you.”
Remember, don’t suffer in silence – it’s time to talk.
