We’ve retained our Disability Confident Employer Accreditation

We have successfully retained our accreditation as a Disability Confident Employer, reaffirming our commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive, and accessible workplace for colleagues with disabilities and long-term health conditions.
This recognition, valid from 2025 to 2028, reflects our continued efforts to challenge barriers, promote equal opportunities, and make meaningful adjustments that empower every individual to thrive at work.
As part of the reaccreditation process an assessment was complete, with evidence provided. This detailed our inclusive recruitment practices, making reasonable adjustments, and providing disability awareness training for managers.
It also showcased our activities in attracting, retaining, and developing talented individuals from all backgrounds, including reviewing job descriptions for accessibility, offering tailored induction support, and engaging in open conversations around workplace adjustments to remove barriers.
Lauren Robinson, from our People and Culture team at Ongo, said: “I’d like to send a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has helped shape our Disability Confident action plan, policies, recruitment practices, and workplace adjustments. Your dedication has been instrumental in achieving this milestone.
“Looking ahead, we’re excited to build on this success through our EDI (Equality, Diversity & Inclusion) group sessions with colleagues and customers and continue strengthening our approach before the next assessment. There’s always more we can do, and this reaccreditation gives us a strong foundation to work from.”
