Your 2024/2025 Annual Report has arrived

The 2024/2025 Ongo Annual Report has now launched, highlighting a year of community investment, key achievements, challenges and what you can expect in the near future.

The report, which covers the period from April 2024 to March 2025, reflects our progress against our new 2024–2029 Corporate Plan, built around three strategic objectives: being a great landlord, customer focus, and growth & sustainability.

Key achievements from the year include:

  • £14.5 million invested in maintaining and improving homes, making sure they are safe, secure, and energy efficient
  • £9.8 million spent on repair jobs, with over 39,000 complete
  • 100% of gas, fire risk and lift safety checks carried out
  • 227 new homes started, contributing to the delivery of high-quality, affordable places to live across the region
  • 61 individuals progressed through the homelessness service
  • £35,000 of Community Grants awarded to 27 groups doing good in the community
  • 1,102 people supported with employment and training initiatives
  • 354 people given mental health support
  • 2,470 stock condition surveys carried out

The report also outlines our financial performance, governance updates, and ongoing work to improve services such as repairs, damp and mould management, and tenant engagement.

Judith Tomlinson, Ongo Tenant and Board member said: “This year, we’ve made real progress, despite some tough challenges. Repairs and maintenance were a big focus and we’ve invested millions into homes and communities, installing new kitchens, bathrooms, doors, and roofs.

“As a tenant myself I know how important it is to feel heard, that’s why I joined. There are so many ways to get involved and your feedback really does shape change.

“In the report we include the things that matter to you, like Tenant Satisfaction Measures and complaints. This helps us learn, improve, and stay accountable.

“I’d like to say a big thank you – for your feedback, your patience, and the part you play in making our communities places we can all be proud of. I hope you enjoy reading the report, and if you’ve got ideas for next year’s, we’d love to hear them.”
