Community Voice is a group of residents who represent you and who are recognised and supported by Ongo.
Community Voice is a group of residents who represent you and who are recognised and supported by Ongo.
The group takes part in discussions that affect your homes, your communities and things that directly impact you. For example, they are consulted on customer facing policies and changes that will affect customers.
They also have responsibility to scrutinise a service and make recommendations for future improvements to policy or procedures. A subgroup from Community Voice will carry out detailed investigations into different parts of our services. They receive relevant information, look at current procedures and customer satisfaction levels, research what others are doing to share ideas, and make recommendations for improvements. The panel report to the Executive Management team at Ongo and the Customer Focus Committee.
The members of the group all have one thing in common, they are passionate about their homes, their local communities and neighbourhoods they live in. Community Voice are as much a part of our business as any of our employees, that’s how much we value their help and support.
Membership to Community Voice is open to any Ongo tenants and leaseholders, therefore attracting a diverse range of customers to meet with us. Community Voice meetings usually take place bi-monthly, with the choice of attending in-person at The Arc, or by joining the meeting digitally using a free programme called Microsoft Teams. This allows people to attend from the comfort of their own home or any other location of their choice.
