Type of Support
The Building Better Opportunities project provides support to address any barriers you may have to entering employment or training by creating an individual plan for your specific needs.
This project gives you access to 1 to 1 support from our employment coaches, in-house training, and external activities such as visits to Hall Farm, Normanby Hall and Barton Waters Edge. Our focus is on how we can best support you to achieve your goals.
How It's Helped Others
*We have been given permission by this person to share her story, but she would like not to be named, so we will refer to her as Helen:
Helen had worked for her families business for many years, but due to the pandemic the business could no longer trade. This left Helen with financial issues, anxiety & depression. Helen receive mental health support which really helped and boosted her confidence, she began to engage with our walking group and also training to support her own walking group. Helen completed training in Coaching and this has inspired her to further develop as a Life Coach. Helen’s mental health improved to a level where she felt she would like to progress onto University which she started in September 2021.
Her incredible journey with us all started from the Building Better Opportunities project.
