Community Grants success
Nineteen community groups across the region have received a share of £25,000 through this year’s Community Grants.
Now in its 14th year, the programme has provided vital funding to more than 130 community-focused organisations, with total support exceeding £180,000 since its launch.
This year’s fund was made possible thanks to generous contributions of £10,000 each from Hales & Coultas and Ashbridge Roofing, along with £2,000 from the Boiler Fund, £1,000 from Trent Valley Electrical and £2,000 from Ongo Communities.
Kerry Copson, Community Development Manager at Ongo, said: “We are committed to supporting local projects that strengthen communities. We want to congratulate this year’s winners and look forward to witnessing the positive impact of their projects.”
